LCBO BREAKS NEW RESPONSIBLE DRINKING CAMPAIGN

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario started its latest social responsible drinking campaign yesterday. The campaign includes a 30-second television commercial called "Innuendo." The ad is set in a woman's office. The woman and man discuss the events previous evening. The woman gives the man back his keys. The text "Stop drinking and driving. Any way you can." appears on the screen along with the LCBO and MADD logos. The LCBO and MADD co-produced the ad, which was created by Fuel Advertising of Toronto. The commercial will run in major Ontario markets until Sept. 22. It will return for a second run from Oct. 6 to Jan. 4, 2004. French-language print ads have also been created.
