GRAND ENTERPRISES OPENS WEB SITE, PLANS MAGAZINE

Grand Enterprises of Oakville, ON has opened a Web site at <http://www.grandwomen.com> to communicate with its target market of women size 14-plus. The corporate identity was developed by Shauna Rae. Philip Sung Design designed the introduction and main page. Desmond Gazon worked on the site's development and layout. The launch of the site will be followed by the debut of Grand Magazine this fall. The bi-monthly magazine will have a circulation of 25,000. It will also aim to communicate with larger women on topics such as fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Public relations for the Web site launch are being handled by Toronto-based MacPhee. The agency previously worked for Grand Enterprises founder Angell Kasparian when she was at TD Asset Management. The agency will also handle the PR for the release of the magazine.
