SHELL CANADA BREAKS WAVES OF CHANGE CAMPAIGN

Calgary-based Shell Canada began an advertising campaign for its Shell Optimax Gold brand this week. The campaign includes radio, television and print advertising supported with point-of-sale materials at Shell locations. The campaign will run nationally in English and French until the first week of August. The campaign promotes the "Optimum Responsiveness" of Optimax Gold fuel and introduces the company's new global tagline, "Waves of Change," in Canada. Advertising for Shell Canada is done by J. Walter Thompson of Toronto. The "Waves of Change" concept was developed by J. Walter Thompson of London.
