KONTENT PUBLISHING TO LAUNCH FASHION MAGAZINE IN FALL

Toronto-based Kontent Publishing will debut a new magazine called Fashion Quarterly on Sept. 5. The title will be published four times a year and distributed as an insert in The Globe & Mail, on newsstands and through some retailers. The editor-in-chief of the magazine is Fashion Television host Jeanne Beker. According to Geoffrey Dawe, president and group publisher of Kontent Publishing, advertiser response to the magazine has been "enthusiastic" and ads have been booked for the first four issues. Kontent has formed a strategic alliance with CHUM Television to promote the magazine.
