LABATT BEGINS BUD LOFT PROMOTION IN QUEBEC

Montreal-based Palm Publicité Marketing and Labatt Breweries have created a new promotion for Budweiser beer in Quebec. Seven contest winners and their friends will live like rock stars for one weekend at the Bud Loft, constructed specifically for the promotion. The weekend package will include a bodyguard, an assistant, a $2,000 expense account, a party for 30 guests and a private rock concert. There are three ways to win the contest. The first is to to find a key in a case of Budweiser. The second is to order a Budweiser at a participating bar in Montreal and check the neck label for a winning message. The third is to play an online "Virtual Loft" game at <http://www.budweiser.ca>. The contest is being promoted with a 30-second television commercial, posters from Zoom Media and NewAd, a newspaper ad and online materials. The Bud Loft will open with parties on June 21 and June 27 featuring "Les Respectables." Invitations to these events are being distributed through contests with Énergie and Musique Plus.
