MASTERCARD HOLDS PRICELESS SEASONS PROMOTION

Toronto-based MasterCard Canada began a contest called "Priceless Seasons" on Sunday. Customers will be entered into the contest whenever they use a MasterCard between now and July 31. The grand prize winner will receive a $30,000 Canadian vacation package. Fifty runners-up will receive $500. A new television commercial in MasterCard's ongoing "Priceless" campaign will be released later this month to promote the contest. Print ads in English and French magazines and transit advertising in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal will also be used. The contest was developed by The Armstrong Partnership of Toronto. MasterCard's "Priceless" ad campaign is from McCann-Erickson of New York. Public relations for MasterCard Canada are handled by Environics Communications of Toronto.
