NESTLE BEGINS NEW KIT KAT ADVERTISING

Nestle Canada released a 30-second television commercial for the Kit Kat chocolate bar yesterday called "Male Model." The ad, like those before it, uses the tagline "Have a Break. Have a Kit Kat." Created by J. Walter Thompson of Toronto, the ad presents a model named Dylan who describes the difficulties of his job and the reasons he deserves a break. The ad also illustrates the product's new packaging. The commercial will run nationally in English and French. Public relations for Nestle's confectionery products are handled by GCI Group of Toronto.
