HALLMARK READIES ROMANCE-A-THON

Greeting card manufacturer Hallmark Canada, based in Willowdale, ON, is preparing a Father's Day promotion called the "Snoozapalooza Romance-a-thon." Ten men will watch a 24-hour marathon of romantic movies interspersed with trivia questions. The winner will be named the "Snoozapalooza Reel Romantic Dad" and receive a 32" television, a satellite system and a couch. Each participant who makes it through the entire marathon will receive $1,000. The contest will begin at 10:00 a.m. on June 10 at the Toronto Eaton Centre. Hallmark is also holding a "Snoozapalooza" sweepstakes. Ballots for this contest are being distributed through the 300 Hallmark Gold Crown stores in Canada. Public relations for Hallmark are handled by Strategic Objectives of Toronto.
