CINEPLEX TO INTRODUCE COLLECTOR MOVIE TICKETS

Toronto-based theatre operator Cineplex Odeon will launch a Collector Movie Ticket program on May 23. Limited edition tickets for six summer movies will be issued. The tickets will be sold in limited quantities at theatres where the movies are playing. The movies featured in the program are "Bruce Almighty" in May, "The Hulk" and "2 Fast 2 Furious" in June, and "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas," "Terminator 3: "Rise of the Machines" and "Lara Croft Tombraider: The Cradle of Life" in July. Customers can enter a draw for a framed set of the six tickets at theatres or through promotional activities with local media outlets. The Collector Movie Ticket program was designed and executed by B Street Communications of Toronto. It is being promoted with on-screen slides and posters in theatres and with newspaper and radio ads in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg. The creative was done by B Street. The media and promotional initiatives were handled by Allied Advertising of Toronto.
