PEPSI-QTG BREAKS BREAKFAST MARKETING CAMPAIGN

Pepsi-QTG Canada of Mississauga has begun a new national integrated marketing program called "Breakfast Central" to promote products from the Quaker and Tropicana lines. "Breakfast Central creates a one-stop breakfast destination to help consumers find convenient, nutritious and great-tasting breakfast solutions and leverages our successful portfolio of beverage and food breakfast brands," said Tom Hare, the company's vice-president of foods, snacks and food service. The campaign includes a consumer booklet called "Start Your Day with Goodness," in-store materials and signage, a Web site at <http://www.breakfastcentral.ca>, direct mail, trade advertising and print advertising. On-package branding appears on ready-to-eat Quaker cereal packages. The "Breakfast Central" program was created by Otis Sauter Léger and Partners, the promotional agency for Quaker and Tropicana. The packaging was designed by Shikatani Lacroix.
