COCA-COLA BEGINS DASANI CAMPAIGN

Toronto-based Coca-Cola will begin an advertising campaign for Dasani bottled water today. The transit and print effort was created by Cossette Communication-Marketing of Toronto. The creative continues from last year's campaign, which used the tagline "Filtered 5x for perfection." Three ads have been created. In one, a bottle of Dasani stands next to a glass of ice. The text reads, "Ice cubes? Don't even think about it." In the second, a bottle of Dasani stands next to an empty glass. The headline is, "Get that filthy glass away from it." In the third, a straw leans against a bottle of Dasani. The text reads, "Who knows where that straw has been?" National transit shelter advertising in English and French will break today. Magazine advertising will run in upcoming issues Flare, Inside Entertainment, Elle Canada, Glow, Canadian House and Home, Active Woman, Chatelaine, Elle Quebec, 7 Jours, Femme d'Aujourd'hui and Femme Plus. Public relations for Coca-Cola are handled by APEX Public Relations of Toronto.
