CPAC HOLDS EVERYTHING'S POLITICAL CAMPAIGN

CPAC Canada's Political Channel is using outdoor and print advertising in a national campaign called "Everything's Political." Each ad uses a single image to represent an issue such as gun control, trade and healthcare. The images are accompanied by the text, "Everything's Political." The advertising, created by Mediaplus Advertising of Ottawa, broke in mid-March in major markets and national print media. This is the first awareness effort for CPAC since the makeover of the channel's image and programming last year. CPAC also recently revamped its Web site at <http://www.cpac.ca>. "We've been evolving out format, adding new hosts and programs over the past year, and felt the time was right to go back to the market and send a strong signal that we are no longer simply the channel where you can watch Question Period," said Colette Watson, president and general manager of CPAC.
