DISCOVERY CHANNEL PROMOTES ECO-CHALLENGE

Discovery Channel is promoting the upcoming broadcast of the "Eco-Challenge" adventure race with a three-tiered promotional campaign developed in-house. This year's race took place in Fiji. The campaign includes bike couriers in Toronto wearing Eco-Challenge wind-breakers, posters distributed in The Globe and Mail and The Toronto Star newspapers, radio advertising in Toronto and Vancouver, TV book ads in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton and two outdoor boards in Toronto. Television ads on Discovery and other CTV channels are also in use. The campaign will run from April 2 to April 25, the last day of the broadcast.
