ASTRAL RE-BRANDS MOVIE NETWORK CHANNELS

Astral Television Networks will re-brand its M2, M3 and M4 channels on May 1. The three channels are part of the company's Movie Network pay-television service. M2 will be renamed MFun and will be aimed at a general audience. M3 will be renamed MExcess and will be aimed at young men and women. M4 will be called MEscape and will target a mature audience. All will have new logos, on-air identities, station Ids and graphics. Headgear, Loop Media and Barkin Hot\Swagger worked on the re-branding of the channels. The classification of Movie Network channels by lifestyle rather than genre began in 2001, when M5 was changed to MFest and targeted towards film festival attendees.
