ADFILMS INTRODUCES DRIVE-IN CINEMA ADS

ADfilms has begun selling advertising at drive-in cinemas. The Hamilton, ON-based firm represents 50 independent theatres in Canada. On-screen advertising and product sampling will be offered at 40 drive-in locations. Keith Stinson, president of ADfilms, said full-motion on-screen advertising will be sold in five-week packages, while product sampling will be sold at a weekly rate. Most drive-in theatres are open on weekends from late May to early September and daily in July and August, Stinson said. ADfilms is promoting the drive-in ads with postcards to clients and media firms in the Greater Toronto Area.
