TSN BEGINS TRADE CAMPAIGN

Toronto-based TSN has begun a trade campaign that focuses on the network's diverse audience. Full-page colour ads using the tagline "Because Everyone's a Sports Fan" begin running in trade publications this month. The creative shows various people coming together. In one ad, the members of a wedding party have crowded into the back room of a reception hall to watch a hockey game on television. In another, a group of siblings paint a maple leaf on the youngest brother's face to match their own faces. According to TSN, the new campaign is intended to encourage media buyers to think about TSN in a different light. The campaign, created by Barkinhotstudio of Toronto, will run through the year.
