GOODY PRODUCTS HIRES ASHWORTH

Goody Products has appointed Toronto-based Ashworth Associates Public Relations and Communications its agency of record. Goody is a Newell Rubbermaid company that manufacturers hair care implements and accessories, bath products and travel storage products. The company is based in Peachtree City, GA. Its Canadian arm is based in Pickering, ON. Ashworth received the account without a review, based on a short-term Canadian project the agency had previously handled for Goody's U.S. parent. Peter Ashworth, president of Ashworth, said the agency will conduct an ongoing public relations program for Goody intended to increase awareness of and generate media exposure for the company's products and spokesperson Richard Marin.
