ONTARIO PHARMACISTS BREAK HEART CAMPAIGN

The Ontario College of Pharmacists have beguan a second phase in a public education campaign intended to inform Ontario residents about the role of pharmacists. "As health care professionals with specialized expertise, we want patients to make full use of the knowledge and services which pharmacists can provide, thereby helping them manage the health and wellness of themselves and their families," said OCP communications manager Layne Verbeek. The new material includes a television commercial featuring an animated heart spokescharacter. The ad was created by Toronto-based Groundzero Marketing Communications. The television campaign will begin on March 24 on news and current affairs programs.
