DESBIENS RESIGNS AS QUEBECOR PRESIDENT

Michel Desbiens has resigned as president and CEO of Quebecor World. According to the Montreal-based commercial printer, Desbiens has departed for personal reasons. He joined the company in November 2002 as CEO of international operations. He became president and CEO of Quebecor World in February 2003. Former president, CEO and chairman of the board Jean Neveu will take over from Desbiens on an interim basis while a replacement is sought.
