COSSETTE READIES GOLF TOWN INITIATIVES

Cossette Communication Group of Toronto is preparing a multi-faceted promotional campaign for retailer Golf Town of Markham, ON. Cossette became the company's agency of record last month, when Golf Town dropped its previous agency of three years, Top Drawer Creative. Cossette had worked for Gold Town on a project basis before becoming AOR. The agency is preparing retail advertising, planning store launch events for Quebec and handling public relations. Cossette's direct marketing and sales promotion subsidiary, Blitz, is working on a new business-to-business campaign. "The premium and incentive business is really about helping companies build stronger relationships with their customers and employees," said Goodwin Gibson, general manager of Blitz. "With the right targeting and messaging strategies, Golf Town will be uniquely positioned to score with business customers across Canada."
