CASINO RAMA INSTALLS CANADA'S LARGEST 3D BILLBOARD

Casino Rama in Rama, ON unveiled what it described as Canada's largest 3D billboard yesterday. Approximately 5,000 square feet in size, the billboard, placed on Highway 400, stands 75 feet tall and can be seen from two kilometres away. The face, 40 feet high by 112 feet wide, displays a 3D recreation of a Blazing 7's slot machine which has apparently burned away a portion of the board. The creative concept came from Marshall Fenn Communications of Toronto. The billboard's steel support structure was built by Millar Engineering of Toronto. The 3D elements were constructed by Atomic Props & Effects of St. Paul, MN. The complete work was assembled over two weeks by the Canadian staff of Strategic Outdoors. "It is the largest project we've ever done," said Strategic Outdoors president Ken Horvat. "It is definitely the most eye-catching outdoor advertising I've ever seen."
