CTV OFFERS WAR COVERAGE TO CANADIAN RADIO STATIONS
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based CTV has offered free use of its live coverage of the war in Iraq to Canadian radio stations. "This is a no-strings attached content offering by the news division of CTV," said Robert Hurst, president of CTV News. "Several radio stations asked for our live audio feed and we decided as a public service to make it available and free to all radio stations in Canada." According to the network, its coverage of the conflict will include reporting from Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Quatar, Isreal, Britain, Washington D.C. and Ottawa. The coverage will continue "as long as events warrant," according to CTV.
