CNE GIVES GLIMPSE OF FUTURE

The 1996 Canadian National Exhibition will have a high tech look. This year the theme of the annual end-of-summer Toronto fair will be "The Future of Communications". The focal point will be an interactive communications exhibit called futurcom@cne. Fairgoers will surf the Internet and learn how it applies to school and work. They will meet multimedia designers, watch graphic designs being created on computers, and see how TV programs are produced. The retailers' exhibits and seminars offered at the fair will allow vistors "to discover all that contemporary communications industries can offer consumers in the twilight of the millenium," says a CNE release. Gee, Jeffery & Partners Advertising of Toronto is currently planning advertising for the event. In the past the CNE has used TV, radio and print.
