By Adnews Staff
Eaux Vives Harricana's Esker Spring Water has signed on as a sponsor of one of Canada's two women's cycling teams. The team's other sponsor is hardware retailer Rona. The team will now be called Team Rona-Esker. The new identity will not appear on the team's jerseys this year because the jerseys were made before the agreement was reached. However, the new team logo and the Esker logo will appear on the team's street wear, vehicles and water bottles. In additional to financial support, Esker will supply the team with water. The agreement will run until the end of the 2004 cycling season. Team Rona-Esker consists of of Canadians Geneviève Jeanson, Andrea Hannos, Carrie Tuck and Erinne Willock, as well as French racers Catherine Marsal and Magali Le Floc'h, Karen Bockel of Germany, American Kristen LaSasso and Melissa Holt of New Zealand.
