GLOW MAGAZINE PROMOTES FIRST ANNIVERSARY

Glow magazine has reached its first anniversary. The health and beauty magazine's March/April issue has 156 pages of advice, product information, and news about health, beauty, fashion and fitness. New advertisers in the issue include Biore, Roc, Libeeda, Sunkist and Dodge. Glow is published six times a year and has a circulation of 500,000 (470,000 English and 70,000 French). It is distributed by newsstands and to members of Shoppers Drug Mart's Optimum program. Three editions are produced: LUXEstyle for heavy beauty product purchasers, GIRLtalk for women 18 to 24 years of age, and MOMlife for women with children. These are sent to Optimum members based on their customer profiles. A national edition distributed on newsstands combines content from the three editions.
