SUN-RYPE STARTS BACK TO BASICS CAMPAIGN

Sun-Rype Products of Kelowna, BC and B.C. Tree Fruits have begun a promotion tied to the 20th anniversary of "Apple Month" called "Back to Basics." The annual initiative will take place during February in western Canada. Activities in central and eastern Canada will begin in March. The effort will promote Sun-Rype's juices and snacks and B.C. Tree Fruits' apples. In the west, in-store materials will be used along with grocery store displays of cedar chairs, wooden bushel baskets and inflatable apples. Flyer advertising, online materials at <http://www.sunrype.com> and a contest are also planned. In central and eastern Canada, the campaign will focus on Sun-Rype products only. In-store displays and materials will be accompanied by Radio Flyer Wagon giveaways. The promotional materials were created by Palmer Jarvis DDB and its design division Karacters Design Group, both of Vancouver.
