SUNKIST GROWERS BREAKS BETTER SNACKING CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Sunkist Growers of Sherman Oaks, CA will break a new print advertising campaign next month that will promote navel oranges as a nutritious alternative to candy, cookies and chips. The print ads were created by California-based Foote, Cone & Belding and adapted for Canada by Toronto-based Bates Canada. The creative uses images of oranges along with copy that could be a description of candy, cookies or chips, including "Sinfully sweet" and "Gooey filling." The campaign will run in the February issues of consumer magazines Canadian Living, Chatelaine, Today's Parent, 7 Jours, and Coup de Pouce. It will continue until August. Public relations for Sunkist Growers in Canada are handled by Advance Planning/MS&L of Toronto.
