KREMEKO PREPARES FOR QUEBEC STORE OPENING
By Adnews Staff
KremeKo will open the first Krispy Kreme Doughnuts store in Quebec this spring. The company has opened four stores in Ontario since buying the development rights for Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada in 2001. The first Quebec location, which will be the fifth Canadian store, will open in late April at the Marché Central in Montreal. KremeKo plans to open 32 stores in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada over the next several years. Its lead public relations agency is The Wilcox Group of Vancouver. It also uses Montreal-based Massy Forget in Quebec and the Toronto office of Edelman in that city. On the advertising side, KremeKo has previously used Taxi and Square Peg, both of Toronto. There are no plans to appoint an ad agency for Quebec.
