DELTA HOTELS BEGINS LOYALTY PROMOTION

Toronto-based Delta Hotels will begin a new promotion at approximately 35 of its Canadian properties on Feb. 1 called the "We Miss You Already World Travel" sweepstakes. Guests who are members of Air Canada's Aeroplan loyalty program will receive bonus Aeroplan Miles through scratch and win cards. During the promotion, which will run until March 31, 53,000 cards worth between 500 and 2,500 Aeroplan Miles will be distributed. The contest's three top prizes are 250,000, 500,000 and one million bonus miles. Delta Hotels is supporting the promotion with prints ads in National Post, The Globe and Mail and Les Affaires and with 30-second commercials on Air Canada flights. The concept was developed jointly by Delta Hotels and its agency Garneau Würstlin Philp Brand Engineering of Toronto. The supporting advertising was created by the agency.
