METLIFE RETAINS PEANUTS SPOKESCHARACTERS

New York-based insurance and financial services company MetLife has signed a new 10-year contract with licensing and syndication firm United Media. Under the contract, MetLife can continue to use Snoopy and other Peanuts characters in its domestic and international advertising. MetLife has used the comic characters in its ad campaigns since 1985. The financial details of the contract are not known.
