CHALK MEDIA CREATES MEMORY STICK COMMERCIALS FOR SONY

Two new television commercials for Sony of Canada's Memory Stick media storage device are currently running nationally, excluding Quebec. The 30-second ads were created by Vancouver-based Chalk Media as part of Sony's "Connecting Your Digital World" national advertising campaign, which also includes print components created by Due North Communications of Toronto. The commercials demonstrate the Memory Stick being used with digital cameras, handheld computers, PCs, camcorders, printers, televisions and projectors to store and transfer data. The ads began a month-long run in mid-November. Each shows a Memory Stick travelling around the world in a bottle, gathering data from people who find it and throw it back. Chalk Media received the assignment based on a number of video email programs the company has previously done for Sony.
