PURE TELECOMMUNICATIONS HIRES COMPASS360

Toronto-based Pure Telecommunications has hired Compass360 of Toronto to develop a branding program for the company. The work, assigned without a review, includes logo design, corporate identity, advertising and Web site components. Pure's new identity and Web site will be introduced in January, followed by a print advertising campaign in the first quarter of 2003. "We looked at a number of design firms, but none offered the depth of brand creation that Compass360 demonstrated," said Jonathan Diamond, vice-president of marketing for Pure. "We were really impressed with their previous work for Rogers and Torstar." Pure is an authorized agent of Bell Canada that offers telecommunications services in southern Ontario.
