TIMOTHY'S INTRODUCES NEW PRODUCTS, STORE DESIGNS

Toronto-based Timothy's Coffees of the World has introduced a range of new products and two new store designs at its three retail chains, Timothy's World Coffee, mmmarvelous mmmuffins and michel's baguette. New bakery products in Toronto-area Timothy's World Coffee stores include muffins, croissants, Danishes, squares, scones and cookies. Outside the city the company is seeking partnerships with local bakers to produce Timothy's products using recipes and ingredients from its Levain World Bakery. In-store materials, coupons and trial offers are promoting the new items. At mmmarvelous mmmuffins stores a number of new coffee blends have been introduced, promoted with in-store materials, coupons and trial offers. A new logo has been created for the chain, as well as a new store design using granite counters, wood cabinetry, stainless steel back counters, wall murals and updated menu boards. At michel's baguette locations a new coffee program has been instituted, along with a revised store design using cherry woods, stone walls and floors, mosaics, wall treatments and wooden chairs. There are 227 Timothy's-operated stores in Canada. The store designs were created by Spinning Wheel. The in-store materials were created by Groundzero and Partners Integrated. Public relations for Timothy's are handled by Buzz Marketing & Public Relations. All of these firms are based in Toronto.
