TOURISM TORONTO BEGINS CITY PROMOTION

Tourism Toronto and the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership have introduced a promotion called "Together in Toronto." Formerly known as "Mix 'n' Match," the promotion offers suggestions on what to do and see in Toronto to travellers who are about to visit the city. Brochures containing some of these suggestions were distributed in Ontario and U.S. border state newspapers last month. Also, a direct mail piece has been sent to travellers in Tourism Toronto's database. The promotion is also being supported with a radio campaign and an online contest at <http://www.togetherintoronto.ca>. Visitors to the site can win one of three getaway packages consisting of a hotel stay, gift certificate, dinner and theatre tickets. Advertising for the Together in Toronto promotion was created by FCB Toronto.
