AGO BREAKS NEW CAMPAIGN FROM MACLAREN MCCANN

The Art Gallery of Ontario has begun a print advertising campaign to promote the Voyage Into Myth exhibition. The exhibit opens tomorrow and will run until Jan. 5. It will be promoted with a series of six ads in The Globe and Mail and National Post newspapers and Toronto Life, Report on Business, Saturday Night, Time and Canadian Geographic magazines. The ads were created pro bono by MacLaren McCann of Toronto. According to the agency, the creative for the campaign was inspired by the exhibit, which is intended to be an escape from the modern age. Each execution, "Air Quality," "Cubicles," "Food Courts," "Mondays," "Power Suites" and "Road Rage," depicts a desire to escape the information age. The campaign will run until the end of the exhibition.
