DODGE INTRODUCES SX 2.0

The Dodge SX 2.0 was introduced at a media event in Toronto last week. The four-door sedan will go on sale at DaimlerChrysler Canada retailers this month. The vehicle comes in three varieties: the SX 2.0, the SX 2.0 R/T and the SX 2.0 Sport. The car includes 15 inch wheels, an in-dash CD changer, a rear deck spoiler and power equipment. The SX 2.0 represents Dodge's return to the Canadian compact car market, according to the company. John MacDonald, Dodge brand manager for DaimlerChrysler Canada, said, "The car's base price will make it especially attractive to first-time car buyers and young families." A national advertising campaign for the SX 2.0 will break later this month. The campaign, which will have English and French components, will be done by BBDO Toronto. Public relations for the launch of the care are being handled by APEX Public Relations of Toronto.
