TORONTO DAILY BREAD FOOD BANK STARTS THANKSGIVING DRIVE

A print ad created by Lowe RMP is promoting the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank's annual Thanksgiving food drive. The ad is part of the agency's pro-bono advertising campaign for the organization. It uses the international emergency call "SOS" to convey the food bank's current food shortage. Three forks form the first "S," a plate represents the "O" and three knives form the second "S." The text reads, "The Daily Bread Food Bank is starving. Please give now." The ad also displays the organization's Web address and telephone number. The ad ran in Saturday's issue of The Toronto Star. The food drive began on Friday.
