HUDSON'S BAY MAKES DEAL WITH CORTEFIEL GROUP

Toronto-based retailer Hudson's Bay Co. has signed a new agreement with Cortefiel Group of Spain for exclusive rights in Canada to Cortefiel's Springfield brand. The line will be sold in Bay stores beginning in March 2003. Springfield is a line of casual men's clothing aimed at young urban professionals and students 20 to 35 years of age.
