FAMILY CHANNEL BEGINS TALKING BOX CAMPAIGN

Toronto-based Family Channel will begin a campaign on Monday involving a talking waste disposal boxes from OMG Media of Vaughan, ON. The eight-week campaign will include 304 posters and 20 ad-wrapped boxes in Toronto District School Board elementary schools. The three poster executions depict average families that are not average families, according to the network. The boxes will play one of four 15-second audio messages when something is thown into them. The campaign's tagline is "Never a dull moment." This is the first campaign to use OMG's talking boxes, one of which will be placed outside Family Channel's offices. Creative, media planning and media buying were done by John St., Family Channel's agency of record.
