ISTAR TEAMS UP WITH DELRINA
By Adnews Staff
IStar internet inc. of Ottawa has increased its suite of Internet services by signing a deal with Symantec Corporation's Delrina Group. The arrangement gives Delrina a broader distribution of its Internet client software called Cyberjack 7.0 for Windows 95. Under the agreement, iStar will provide its subscribers with copies of Skyjack. IStar is also buying Delrina's bulletin board service, CRS Online. Last week iStar dipped into the Vancouver market again, buying Wimsey Information Systems and auroraNet Inc., bringing its total number of B.C. subscribers up to 3,000. Just before iStar went public in November it bought Toronto-based Inforamp for $4.3 million. In October it bought Vancouver's Mind Link Communications for $3.5 million.
