CMA PREPARES NEW STANDARDS FOR TEEN MARKETING

The Canadian Marketing Association will release new standards for marketing to teenagers this week. According to the Toronto-based organization, the standards will better guide the actions of its 800 members and protect the interests of teenagers. In 1999 the CMA established standards for marketing to children. Those standards have since been adopted by the International Federation of Direct Marketing Associations as a global standard.
