GLOBAL RENEWS AGREEMENT WITH PRINCETON VIDEO IMAGE

Global Television has renewed its agreement with Princeton Video Image of Lawrenceville, NJ. The firm produces virtual advertising inserts for live broadcasts. Global Television, owned by Winnipeg-based CanWest Global Communications Corp., has been using the firm's services for its sports broadcasts and entertainment programming since 1999 to digitally insert blimps and billboards into NFL games and billboards into CART racing events. The network has also used Princeton Video Image's virtual product placement service in entertainment programming such as "Bob & Margaret" and "Pop Stars." The three-year renewal extends the agreement to 2005.
