MASEV TO PRODUCE WORLD CUP SKATEBOARDING EVENT

Vancouver-based MASEV Communications has been hired by World Cup Skateboarding to produce a skateboarding event in the Greater Toronto Area. World Cup Skateboarding, based in Soda Springs, CA, describes itself as the sport's sanctioning body. Masev received the assignment in a blind bid process. This will be the first event of its kind in central or eastern Canada. Competitions and skate sessions in various categories will take place on Oct. 11 and 12 at the Hershey Arena in Mississauga. Skaters will compete for a share of $70,000 in prizes.
