WEBER SHANDWICK HIRES MARGLES, DOHERTY

Toronto-based Weber Shandwick Canada has hired Elizabeth Margles as senior vice president in charge of its healthcare practice. Previously she led the healthcare practice of Hill and Knowlton as business unit leader. Prior to that she was director of communications at Wyeth-Ayerst Canada. Lorraine Doherty has also joined Weber Shandwick Canada as a vice president in the Toronto consumer practice. She will lead a number of the agency's accounts, including that of McDonald's Restaurants of Canada. Previously she also was at Hill and Knowlton where she worked on accounts including that of Microsoft Canada.
