BURGER KING BEGINS MEN IN BLACK II PROMOTION

Toronto-based Burger King Canada has prepared a number of cross-promotional activities related to Sony Pictures Entertainment's movie "Men In Black II," which was released yesterday. In addition to the chain's product placement in the film, Burger King has added a limited-time item to its menu called the Black Stack BBQ Griller. The company is also offering one of 10 Men In Black toys with the purchase of a Kids Meal or Big Kids Meal. Each toy comes with a card bearing a code number that can be entered at a Men In Black microsite at the Burger King Web site to unlock special downloads. The movie tie-in is being promoted with national advertising and in-store materials.
