KIA DEALERS PROMOTE KIANADA DAY

The Toronto and Hamilton Area Kia Dealer's Association has begun radio and print advertising to promote "Kianada Day." The association consists of 18 area dealers. Advertising begins today in the two cities and will run until July 3. Newspaper ads in The Toronto Star, The Toronto Sun and Hamilton Spectator read, "We're selling so many cars we're taking over the country." Additional copy reads "Happy Kianada Day." Radio ads on Toronto stations CHFI, 680 News, The Mix 99.9, Q107 and Hamilton station CKLH depict a Canadian border guard greeting a visitor by saying "Welcome to Kianada." The campaign's tagline is "It's about time everyone had a well-made car." The campaign was developed by Toronto-based one.
