ROCKPORT AND MEDIARITE PROMOTE MIB FOOTWARE

Rockport Canada and Mediarite Targeted Marketing have teamed up for a national in-store promotion tied to Rockport's sponsorship of the upcoming Columbia Pictures film "Men In Black II." Rockport is a subsidiary of Reebok based in Aurora, ON. Its shoes are worn in the film by the Men In Black. The promotion, which will run until July 6, involves scratch and win cards distributed to consumers who try on Rockport Men in Black shoes. In a second component of the promotion, consumers can fill out a ballot to win a trip for two to Hollywood. The contest is being promoted with television advertising on CBC during World Cup soccer games and during other programming as well as radio giveaways in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg and Vancouver. The movie will open on July 3.
