COCA-COLA BREAKS VANILLA COKE ADVERTISING
By Adnews Staff
The Coca-Cola Company of Atlanta, GA will break advertising for its Vanilla Coke soft drink this week, according to media reports. The company introduced the soda in May. The advertising is aimed at teenagers. It includes radio, outdoor and Internet ads as well as two television commercials which aired last night on the Fox and WB networks. In one ad a young man finds himself in a headlock when he pokes his head through a hole in a wall. In the other a young man looks through a peephole and is then pulled through the door. The six-week campaign was created by the Martin Agency of Richmond, VA. Vanilla Coke will be released in Canada this summer. It will promoted with an integrated marketing campaign.
