MOLSON INTRODUCES NEW TORNADE AND RICKARD'S VARIETIES

Montreal-based Molson will introduce a new flavour in its Tornade alcoholic beverage line in Quebec this week. Tornade Long Island Iced Tea is the fourth flavour in the line. The others are Lemonade, Cool Berry and Sangrila. Molson is promoting the new flavour with a 30-second television spot created by Cossette Communication-Marketing. Called "Granny," the commercial will air on major English and French-language networks in Quebec.
In related news, Molson has also released a new variety of Rickard's beer called Honey Brown. The product, exclusive to Ontario, will initially be sold on tap in some restaurants. On-premise launch activities will promote the introduction of Rickard's Honey Brown. An outdoor billboard ad in downtown Toronto has also been installed. Public relations for Molson are handled by Thornley Fallis Communications of Toronto.
