ASTRAL MEDIA OUTDOOR ENTERS EDMONTON

Montreal-based Astral Media Outdoor has constructed of 25 new advertising faces in Edmonton. The outdoor advertising company operates 3,400 ad faces in Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia and Ohio. This is the firm's first move into Edmonton. Four of the faces are in the "Classic" format and 21 are in the "Zontal" format. on Edmonton's main thoroughfares marks the company's first presence in the city. The former are vertical boards 16 feet high by 12 feet wide. The latter are horizontal boards 10 feet high by 20 feet wide. "These new billboards in Edmonton enable us to increase national coverage for advertisers," said Astral Media Outdoor president René Desmarais. "The locations and formats were selected to further our expansion while maintaining the superior quality of our sites."
